Horticultural fabrics

Horticultural fabrics are widely applied as anti-weed mats. Thanks to the properties obtained in the production process, horticultural fabrics made by Lenko S.A. are efficient means of suppressing undesirable plants. Their application eliminates the need of using herbicides. Because of the UV-stabilization, the horticultural fabric can be used for 5 horticultural seasons.

Fabrics suppressing weeds are offered in following colours: black or white and green or grey on request. They are either striped or checked which helps to plan crops comfortably.

They are used:

• for suppressing weeds in nursery, orcharding and horticulture
• in establishing gardens and for covering embankments
• in points of sale of trees and decorative bushes
• white fabric is successfully used in greenhouses and film tunnels; it protects from overheating and is reflecting the light well.

Advantages:

• they prevent weeds from growing
• they are well water- and air-permeable
• they rise the soil temperature
• they help to maintain the appropriate soil moisture
• they do not decay in contact with water
